What do you think an academic class is?



Minerva emerged as a headache from Zeus. As the goddess of wisdom, could only proceed from the upper part of his body. The head, so far from the earth, tends toward the sky, the place of the gods. In the Western tradition, the body is opposed to the mind. The latter placed in the origin of knowledge and of being of the noble thoughts, science and art. For years, science was conceived as the result of the mind.

The body was constrained. The knowledge that emerged from it was hidden and confined within the parameters of the forbidden. The knowledge of the body should be distrusted, as they were assimilated to the processes of nature. The body was the animal part of human beings. As soon as the body language was silenced, the primitive human was silenced and the language of civilization could arise, centered in the mind...
